Ronald James McGaffick, 67, died Saturday, March 22, 2014. Born in Salem, he was a longtime area resident. Ronald proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was an avid supporter and follower of Wadsworth High School sports.
Preceded in death by his father, Raymond; brother, Rick; and father-in-law, Donald Boyer.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia; son, Scott (Mariana Wolk) of Norwalk; daughter, Wendy (Josh) Brickner; sister, Cindi (Kenny) Rudes of Chippewa Lake; mother-in-law, Jennie Boyer; sister-in-law, Nancy Boyer; and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and his Golden Retrievers Vegas and Kona.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 25 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth, where his best friend Fred Weber will eulogize Ronald, Thursday at 11 AM. Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society Barberton Relay for Life, 525 N. Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406, 67, died Saturday, March 22, 2014.
