Margaret A. Melillo, 65, resident of Medina, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Medina Hospital, Cleveland Clinic. She was born January 6, 1949 to Robert Unwin and Margaret (nee Martin) in Twechar, Scotland. She was retired as an Inspector with the Alcoa Company.
Margaret leaves behind her mother; daughters, Christina and Diana; brother, Albert (Judy) and sister-in-law, Mary Unwin; her longtime companion, George McMath; she was also a caring aunt and great aunt to many. Special remembrance to her special pets, her three dogs that were by her side always. She was preceded in death by her father and brother William Unwin.
The family invites friends for visitation Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt.18), Medina. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10 A.M. also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
