Audrey L. Saylor (nee Leighty), 78, of Litchfield, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Medina Hospital. She was born February 29, 1936, in Juanita, Pennsylvania. Audrey was an active member of Litchfield Assembly of God Church and former board member of the church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, games, reading the Bible, church activities, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Paul, Sr.; daughters, Donna (Paul) Sniezek of Elyria, Susan (Rick) Noble of Grafton; son, Paul (Krista) Jr. of Grafton; sister, Nellie Fordyce of Juanita, Pennsylvania; brothers, Elwood of Leisering, Pennsylvania and Thomas of Connelsville, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Thorpe; and brothers, John (Spike), Russell and Jacob.
Family will receive friends 4 until 7 P.M., Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, 440-322-4626, and Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 11 A.M., until time of service at 12 Noon, at the Litchfield Assembly of God, 9082 Norwalk Rd., Litchfield 44253. Pastor Mark Hartshorn will officiate. Burial will be at Litchfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Litchfield Assembly of God or to Youth Challenge, 800 Sharon Dr., Westlake, OH 44145-1521.
