Georgia Dean McDonnell, 48, of Lodi, passed away suddenly Friday, February 28, 2014 at her home with family. She was born in Lodi Hospital on March 26, 1965, to Carl and Shelby (Murphy) Cart.
She was a 1980 graduate of Medina High School and had worked as a hair stylist, retiring in 2004.
She is survived by her son, Maverick McDonnell and his father, Rick McDonnell of Lodi; mother, Shelby Cart of Medina; three sisters, Sheridan Knoch of Lima, Tammy Jacobs of Lodi, Carla Crum of Rittman; one brother, Brett Cart of Medina; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 12 Noon, at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, (330) 948-1122. Dr. Richard Powers will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon in the funeral home.
