George Tulisiak, 89, resident of Medina, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Hospice of Medina County. He was born April 16, 1924, to John and Rose (nee Gorski) in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
George was a WW II United States Army Veteran. He married Mildred (nee Maresko) on October 14, 1950 until her passing on April 23, 2010. He was employed as a Metallurgical Aerospace Engineer at NASA Research Center for 24 Years.
He will be dearly missed by his sons, Dr. Terrence (Marita) Tulisiak, Dr. Thomas (Judy) Tulisiak; and daughter, Cynthia (Greg) Nemec; grandchildren, Kelly (Matt) Stepnowsky, Alexandra (John) Harvan, Kate, Kyle, Christopher, Samantha, Leann Tulisiak, Christina (Steve) Paff, Melissa (Matthew) Neely; great-grandchildren, Zadie, Brooklyn and Amelia; and brother, John (Olga) Tulsiak.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife; parents; siblings, Joseph, Aloysius, Helen, Anne, Gertrude, Martha, Marceline.
Friends and family will be together for visitation Friday, February 28, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A.M., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Fr.Thomas Kowatch officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
