Bobby L. Pettry, 56, of Lodi, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Medina General Hospital. He was born in Cleveland, April 12, 1957, to Eugene and Reba (Dickens) Pettry.
He grew up in Parma and later married Cynthia Ennis on February 17, 1979. He had resided in the Lodi area for the past 32 years.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia; children, Melissa Pettry of Ocala, Florida, Jeannie (Scott Cunningham) Pettry of Lodi, Carrie (Patrick) Damon of West Salem; three grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca and Riley; parents, Eugene and Reba Pettry of Lodi; sisters, Carol (Miguel) Flores of Sterling, Ohio, Sharon (Charles) Favara of Lodi; mother and father-in-law, Billy and Ellen Ennis of Lodi; and a number of nieces and nephews who he loved and meant a lot to him.
He was preceded in death by brothers, David and Carl Pettry; and nephew, Bryan Warfle.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 30, 2014, 11 A.M., at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Pastor Jerry Arman will officiate. Burial will follow at West Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014, from 5 until 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
