Genevieve “Ginny” Riffel, 77, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 in Medina. Ginny was born January 23, 1937, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, to the late Noah and Lula (Hall) Cogar.
She was formerly a waitress at Eat’n Park.
Ginny was the loving mother of Deborah Ann Riffel, Elizabeth (Joe) Mack, Kimberly (Rick) Beard, and Terry Riffel; devoted grandmother of Terry Riffel, Jr., Nick Riffel, Shawn Beard, Neal Cart, Christine Raymond and Chris Mack; great-grandmother of Travis Riffel, Austin and Alex Kungl; and devoted sister of Bonnie and Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy; son, Timothy; granddaughter, Ashley Beard; sisters, Nora and Rose; and brothers, Clifford, Sylvester, Jonas, Wilford, Orlando, Erso and Robert Cogar.
A private family service will be held for Ginny.
