Carrolton C. Riehm, 76, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, after long months of suffering at Medina Village, under the care of Hospice.
Family and friends will remember his great talent in gardening, carpentry, masonry and especially his famous Christmas candy.
Mr. Riehm is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Morse) Riehm, to whom he was married 21 years; daughters, Melissa Gurct (Brian), Leah Wasserman (Scott), stepchildren, Robert Gehring (Susan), Jeff Gehring (Pattie), Tom Gehring (Donna) and Mary McElroy (Kevin); brothers, Donald Riehm (Kay), Arnold Riehm (Caroline); daughter-in-law, Mary Riehm; sisters-in-law, Betty Einhart and Barbara Riehm; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Laura Riehm; a brother, George Riehm; a baby brother, Howard Riehm; and his son, Christopher A. Riehm.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 3 P.M., until the service at 4 P.M., at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Reverend Dr. Neal Sadler will officiate. Private family burial will take place at Mound Hill Cemetery in Seville.
