Juanita J. Packard, 64, of Spencer, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. She was born on June 2, 1949 in Cleveland, to Dale and Ruth Douglas Wagner.
She graduated from Black River High School in 1967 and married Allan Packard on June 29, 1968. Juanita was a former employee for Society for Handicapped Citizens. She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church, Spencer Police Citizens Academy and was also involved with Club Connection after school program.
She is survived by her husband, Allan; children, Carolyn Simpson of Spencer, Scott (Helen) Packard of Homerville, Tammy (Gene) Baker of Spencer; eight grandchildren, Roger (Amelia) Simpson, Justin, Sarah, Jonathan and Suzanne Packard, Cory, Kyle and Cameron Baker; mother, Ruth Krueck of Burbank; sisters, Connie Kress of Sullivan, Chris (Ed) Cironi of North Canton; brothers, Doug (Ingrid) Krueck of Colorao, David (Cheryl) Krueck of Colorado; sister in law, Elaine (Rick) McQuate of Wellington; brother in law, James Sooy of Colorado; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; sisters, Lynn Sooy and Linda Brandel; and brother in law, Bill Kress.
Memorial service will be Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. at the Spencer United Methodist Church, 201 East Main St., Spencer. Rev. Lenore Robinson will officiate. Inurnment will be in Spencer Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service (1 to 3:30 P.M. Sunday) at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation or to the family, to help with medical and final expenses.
