William Albert Ross, 51, of Chatham Township, passed away suddenly Monday, September 9, 2013 at his home. He was born in Lodi on March 26, 1962 and was a 1980 Cloverleaf High School graduate and a lifetime resident of Chatham.
He had been a cameraman at the Medina Gazette for 33 years and had worked the Apple Butter Festival in Chatham for many years.
Surviving are his two children, Daniel and Christopher at home; mother and step father, Delma Jean and Ed Bornstine of West Salem; brothers, David (Linda) Mowrer of West Salem and Daryl Mowrer of Lakeville, Ohio; sister, Denise (Joel) Shafer of Burbank, Ohio; uncle, Alvin Ross of Chatham; mother of his children, Wendy Ross; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Harriett Ross; step father, Francis Barney Mowrer; and uncle, Melvin Ross.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Pastor Patty Silva will officiate. Burial will follow at Chatham Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
