Robert M. Dequinze, 67, of Medina, entered into rest Friday, August 23, 2013. He was born November 12, 1945 in Harrison Township, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert O. and Losetta (McKenzie) Dequinze.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Veterans Administration as a Veteran’s Service Representative after 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Beverly and taking walks with their dogs. He was an avid sporting clay shooter and was a member of the Hill n’ Dale Gun Club, where he cherished spending a lot of time with close friends and family at the club. He was also a downhill skier and always enjoyed a good cigar.
Robert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly (Taucher); mother in law, Irene V. Taucher; sister in law, Sheri Crafton; brother in laws, Arthur P., Daniel L., and Deno J. Taucher; many nieces and nephews; and his furry friends, Bree and Devin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father in law, Arthur L.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at 11:30 A.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 756 N. Court St., Medina, where friends may call Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Burial with military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
